About Our Company

Tailored Business Systems, located in Statesboro, Georgia, has designed, produced, and installed computer software since 1973, specializing in IBM mid-range systems.

We participate in the IBM Business Partner Program through a contractual relationship, which allows TBS and IBM to market products jointly. This relationship benefits our clients as they can finance our products through the IBM Credit Corporation, receive joint proposals from TBS and IBM, and stay abreast of new products and services available from IBM.

TBS specializes in software systems for the governmental sector. As our name indicates, we tailor our standard software offerings to meet the unique requirements of our customers. Our software packages are moderately priced along with the installation and training charges.

Our Municipal Management System, tailored for local governments, includes utility billing-including handheld readers, budgetary accounting, payroll, tax billing, occupational tax, fixed assets, and purchase orders. These applications are installed in over 240 government offices in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Iowa.

We provide support for our products with warranties, telephone assistance, program updates, and on-line program diagnostics and fixes via hook-up of our computer to yours.

Other services provided by TBS include custom systems design and programming, computer operator training, start-up supplies (cables, paper, etc.), system installation and configuration, e-mail setup, network consulting, and data processing consulting services.

We also provide a printing service for property tax billing, mobile homes, and utility bills. These services are all-inclusive and provide our customers with an economical and efficient form of completing these tasks. In 2003, TBS printed almost 2 million notices.

Streamline the legislative agenda process. What was once an arduous task of manually compiling paper and data into an Agenda Packet is now made quicker and easier with LegisStream.

A welcome addition to the TBS Government Solution Suite, Account Statement Reconciliation gives users the ability to compare general ledger balances with bank statements directly on a TBS application screen.
